Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

At WhatPiece, we prioritize your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website.

1. Information We Collect

You can play without creating an account or providing your name or email address. To keep the site working properly, we store technical and gameplay data such as an anonymous identifier, progress, scores, language, preferences, notification subscriptions if you enable them, and security or anti-cheat indicators.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

We use local storage and cookies to remember your progress, streaks, completed challenges, language, preferences, ads, usage statistics, and security measures. Some features, such as rankings, notifications, or anti-cheat protections, may not work correctly without this data.

3. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics, advertising, or content delivery, such as Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or CDNs for images and scripts. These services may process technical data, cookies, or usage data according to their own policies.

4. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at: contact@whatpiece.com

5. Google AdSense Cookies

Google is one of the advertising providers on our site. It uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to display ads to visitors based on their visit to whatpiece.com and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google advertising privacy policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

6. Android tester programme

If you join the Android tester programme, we store the name and email address you give us, along with your anonymous player identifier and your language. We use them solely to grant you access to the test version on Google Play and to keep you informed about it. The address is shared with Google Play, which needs it to grant you access, and is not passed on to any other third party. Everything is deleted once the testing period ends. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to contact@whatpiece.com.

6. Anti-Cheat System

To protect the integrity of rankings, we anonymously store a device fingerprint (browser hash), suspicious-behaviour indicators, and, when applicable, the end date of a temporary account restriction. This data is kept solely for moderation purposes and is not shared with third parties.

Public ranking restrictions

A restriction may be applied automatically when the system detects evidence of manipulation or manually by an administrator after reviewing alerts. Penalties are temporary and increase for repeat offences. They only prevent you from appearing in public rankings: you can continue accessing and playing the games normally, but your scores will not compete while the restriction is active. If you believe this is a mistake, you may contact the administrator and request a review.
