Game of the Month: Jolly Roger - Guess the Pirate Crew Behind the Flag
WhatPiece's Game of the Month just hoisted its flag: say hello to Jolly Roger, our newest daily challenge for true pirate scholars. If you think you know your crews by their symbols alone, this one is for you.
How does Jolly Roger work?
Every day we show you the Jolly Roger of a pirate crew or organization from the One Piece world, sharp and clear from the very first second - no blur, no guesswork about the image itself. Your job is simple to explain and hard to master: type the name of the crew it belongs to, with autocomplete to help you search.
Unlimited attempts, optional hints
There is no attempt limit - keep guessing until you get it right, or surrender if you are truly stuck. If you need help along the way, you can unlock up to 3 hints, each one revealed only when you choose to:
- Debut era - the saga where the crew first appeared, from East Blue all the way to the latest arcs.
- Bounty - the crew's total known bounty, when available.
- Ship - the name of their main vessel, when available.
The more hints you use, the more it shows in your results - so balance your pirate knowledge against your curiosity.
A full crew profile once you finish
Whether you win or surrender, Jolly Roger reveals a complete profile of the crew: their exact first appearance (chapter and episode), their captain, their original Japanese name, and a link to learn even more. It is a great way to discover lesser-known crews you might have missed.
Jolly Roger also counts toward your daily streak and your friends ranking (fewer attempts wins) - though, like Wanted, it has no public leaderboard, so it is all about bragging rights among your crew.
Ready to test your eye for pirate flags? Play Jolly Roger now and see how many crews you can recognize by their Jolly Roger alone.
