Netflix's One Piece Season 4 Could Arrive in 2027-2028, According to the WGA
Good news for live-action fans: the Straw Hats may not take long to come back after season 3. The Writers Guild of America (WGA) website has updated its page for Netflix's One Piece and now lists the writing staff for season 4, with a 2027-2028 date next to it.
Is it official?
Not yet. Netflix hasn't announced a fourth season, so for now this should be treated as a strong hint, not a confirmation. Still, the timing makes sense: season 2 premiered in March 2026, filming on season 3 wrapped on June 30, 2026, and season 3 is expected in 2027.
It also matches an earlier leak. In September, a message from the organizer of The One Con, a convention held in Paris in November 2026, seemed to reveal by accident that the cast would reunite in December 2026 to film a new season.
What could season 4 adapt?
If season 3 covers the whole Alabasta war against Crocodile and Baroque Works, the natural next step is Jaya, Bellamy, and the climb to Skypiea, the island in the sky. This is just speculation for now: there's no official word on which arcs the fourth season will include.
